Float with the eagles in Squamish or Harrison
Hot Springs.
There are many ogling opportunities. Take a guided walk, hop
on a river raft, view eagles by horseback, or simply hike the
dykes on your own to take in the feasting eagles. Stretch out
on our many beaches.
Go whitewater rafting.
Ride the Thompson River's roller coaster rapids at Lytton, the

Board a BC Ferry at Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver for a 40-minute
cruise to the sunny and scenic Sunshine Coast. Discover art galleries,
pubs, quaint cafes and antique shops at Gibsons, Sechelt, Pender
Harbour, Powell River and Lund.
Hike the Stein Valley.
The last major, biologically complete, unlogged valley in all
of southwestern BC. The Stein Valley Heritage Park contains eight
of the provinces 14 major ecological zones. From ponderosa
pine bunchgrass semi-desert zone in the valley bottoms, through
five forest zones, to the high alpine glacier zone above the
treeline
Go antique-ing in Fort Langley.
Just 40 minutes east of Vancouver on Hwy 1, Fort Langleys
heritage ambience with its eclectic mix of shops, cafes, restaurants,
antique and art galleries depicts the lifestyle of those inhabitants
of BCs pioneer times. Go see the restored fur trading fort.
See Shannon Falls or Bridal Falls.
Water tumbling down 122m (400 ft) on the face of Mount Cheam
created Bridal Falls and Bridal Falls Provincial Park, which
has become one of the family destinations of choice in the Fraser
Valley. A short walk into the park with the ever-increasing sounds
of rushing water, leads to Shannon Falls where water cascades
over a 335m (1099 ft) drop creating memorable photographs from
the viewing platform.
Ride Hell's Gate Airtram.
Descend smoothly down in to the gorge via the 500 ft air tram
and have a first hand look at the narrow gorge and the international
Fishways constructed to assist salmon upstream to their spawning
grounds.
Hike or ski the North Shore Mountains.
Visit Grouse Mountain, Hemlock Valley, Mount Seymour Provincial
Park, Manning Provincial Park, or Cypress Bowl for excellent
hiking or skiing.
Drive the scenic Sea to Sky Highway.
From Horseshoe Bay, the Sea to Sky Highway transports thousands
north to the spectacular BC country of forests and lakes for
memorable outdoor adventures of hiking, climbing, biking, backpacking,
camping, and skiing.
Visit the Minter Gardens, near Chilliwack.
Wander through 11 themed gardens, including a fragrance garden,
three aviaries, topiary sculptures, a maze, and a Chinese garden.
